It’s Polish for late. And the wines are always worth the wait.
Późno wines are made amongst friends on Kaurna country in McLaren Vale, South Australia. Natural wines that take the long road.
The grapes are sourced from organic vineyards in the Hills, McLaren Vale and on the Fleurieu Peninsula, while the wine is crafted without additions.
Getting the chance to work in the esteemed Borachio winery as head of cleaning, pressure washing, Hilux driving etc, the wines came about after seeking out new parcels of fruit from nearby growers, before claiming squatter’s rights over a corner of the shed. It’s a beautiful grey area and the perfect stitch up.
When the debut 2021 range was released after resting in bottle for some time, this became the pattern for things to come. The wines are expressive and dynamic, intended to walk the line of clean style, purity and balance.
