A pairing as they should be, but not as they always are. Shiraz so close to the beach you can see the waves through the valley, and Grenache from higher up a sea-breeze-kissed hill, where it’s certified organic and was planted in the 1940s. Pretty plums and thyme notes with shimmering brightness. A proper red wine but so savoury and light on its feet, tension and detail that keeps it cool and moreish. So easy to love and get lost in. 60/40.
